Mountain View was organized as an independent baptist church in 2002 with a commitment to the mission of Jesus Christ and the authority and integrity of God’s Word, the Bible.
Our mission is to glorify God and to do life together as a family of Christ followers. We are devoted to growing in our love for God, our love for others and faithfully living out the truths of his Word. We are committed as ambassadors to carry out Christ’s mission of disciple-making in our community and worldwide.
Doing life together God’s way is about a united community of Christ followers who are faithfully committed to working together to serve Christ, love one another, and to carry out the mission for the church.

What to Expect
Mountain View is a multi-cultural congregation of all ages. Our worship is intentionally centred on the Word of God and the exaltation of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We prioritise expositional preaching, congregational singing, fervent prayer, and loving fellowship. Our desire is to offer reverent worship with grateful hearts in response to all that God has done for us in Christ (Hebrews 12:28).
There is no dress code, and most come dressed smart casually. The service typically lasts close to an hour and a half after which we have a time of fellowship over tea and coffee.
Our Sunday School meets during the second half of the service and we currently have classes for:
+ Toddlers
+ 5-8-year-olds
+ 8-12-year-olds
We also have facilities for nursing mothers. Our classes are taught in English and are based on the Generations of Grace curriculum.
