Join us every Sunday evening from 17:30 - 19:00 as we deepen our understanding of God’s word together. We currently have two classes that meet in our church building and on Zoom. Feel free to join us for either class, and contact us if you’d like to join us via Zoom.

What

The Ministry Training Centre class schedule consists of eight (8) courses, one per term, and is designed to be completed in two years.

Why

1)    Teaching the Word to contribute to believer’s spiritual growth and maturity;
2)    Equipping believers for ministry to better serve Christ and to minister in the local church

Content

Year 1

  • Making Sense of the Bible (Personal Biblical Study Skills)

  • On the Way to Jesus (Old Testament)

  • On the Way with Jesus (New Testament)

  • This We Believe (Doctrines of the Bible)

Year 2

  • Having Life: Disciplines of a Disciple

  • Doing Life: Functions of the Forever Family

  • Biblical Leadership

  • Sharing Life: Here, There, and Everywhere

What

MTC2 is the second “tier” of courses designed to build on the foundational first “tier” of MTC, thus contributing further to the believer’s spiritual maturity and equipping them for ministry.

Why

The challenges of today’s culture (the denial of absolute truth, the view that all religions and their truth sources are valid. me-ism and materialism) demand we be well grounded in our faith and confident in our efforts and are equipped to pursue fulfilment of the Great Commission.

Who and How

  1. Participants need to have completed the basic two year MTC course.

  2. Participants commit to attend 75% of classes each term (6 out of 8 sessions)

  3. Participants will receive a Certificate upon completion of all eight courses.

  • Biblical Leadership: The Next Level - (Leadership principles for specific situations)

  • Biblical Followership - (Biblical principles of Body life)

  • Bible Lesson Design and Delivery - (Biblical message and lesson preparation)

  • Good Soil…Good Seed - (Training for use of Good Soil materials)
